Most IPC documents are now available in PDF format for easy viewing and searching. Select the license that meets your needs:

Single User (CD): Allows one user to access the document. Printing is limited to one page at a time (a screen shot). Placing a single-user license on any network is not permitted.

Site License Electronic Format: Allows unlimited access by all employees at a single location. There are no print restrictions. Placing a site license on your company's network is permitted as long as the network is limited to one physical site. Placing a site license on the Internet is not permitted

Global Network License Electronic Format: Allows unlimited access use by all employees at multiple sites. There are no print restrictions. Placing a global license on your company's network is permitted. Placing a global license on the Internet is not permitted.

Permissible Uses for IPC Training and Image Resources

Below are the details for acceptable / unacceptable usage of IPC training media resources: graphic and photographic “clip-art” images, computer animations, videos, DVDs, computer-based training programs, and printed reference materials (reference manuals, posters, inspection sheets, etc.).

Photographic and Graphic Illustrations (Clip-Art Images) and Computer-Graphic Animations

Corporate trainers may incorporate IPC images, graphics, and animations into products intended for use within and throughout their own company. Corporate trainers may recompress, translate formats, or otherwise electronically adapt or edit clip art (photographic & computer generated) images to suit their needs. IPC credit must be provided within the document or multimedia program referencing image source.

IPC images may not be used outside of the original company that purchased the assets without written permission. Images & animations used in web-based training programs must be securely within company intranets (firewall, password protected, etc.), and not available to anyone outside the company.

This license does not permit use of IPC photographic images and graphic resources for adaptation or incorporation into commercial (for-profit) training products or services. Contact the IPC Training Dept. for information on licensing arrangements for photographic / clip art images and animations for use in training products or services intended for resale (commercial training applications, e.g. for usage outside the original company that purchased the assets, or for training students that are not employed by the original licensee).

Videos / DVDs

IPC videos / DVDs are licensed for use within one manufacturing site or educational facility. Corporate trainers and nonprofit educational users may convert into any analog or digital format for use within the original site that purchased the video / DVD program, for editing or compiling with other training programs.

IPC videos / DVDs may not be copied or digitally transmitted for use at additional company or educational sites. Contact IPC Video for specific rates for multiple copies or for global digital rights for worldwide access.

IPC videos / DVDs are not licensed for editing or incorporation into training products or programs intended for resale (for profit). If IPC videos / DVDs are used as part of commercial (for profit) training programs, they must be used within their original format and in their entirety.

All users may make a back-up copy to protect against tape deterioration or disc loss, or you can return damaged videotapes and DVDs to IPC for free replacement.

Computer-Based Training from CD-ROM

Stand-Alone software licenses are designed for installation and unlimited use on one computer at a time. You may install stand-alone software on different computers, so long as you only run the program on one computer at a time.

Site Licenses are designed to run unlimited simultaneous users over a company local area network (LAN) within one manufacturing facility or site only. They are not licensed for use over a corporate intranet or wide area network (WAN) for multiple locations.

IPC computer-based training programs are not licensed for editing or incorporation into training products or programs intended for resale (for profit). If IPC computer-based programs are used as part of commercial (for profit) training sessions, they should be used within their original format and in their entirety.

You may make a back-up copy of any computer-based program to protect against CD-ROM deterioration, or you can return damaged CDs to IPC for free replacement.

IPC Desk Reference Manuals / Posters / Inspection Sheets may not be photocopied for internal use.

Desk Reference Manuals / Posters / Inspection Sheets may not be scanned or digitized for electronic reproduction.
